Something specific in mind? A cutting board with a story behind it, a dining table that fits your space, a piece of wall art nobody else will have. We build custom pieces from premium hardwoods, one at a time, in our Fredericksburg workshop.

What We Can Make

If it can be built from wood, we can probably build it. Some of what we take on:

• Cutting boards and butcher blocks — custom sizes, wood combinations, edge profiles
• Charcuterie and serving boards — live edge, river-style, personalized designs
• Furniture — benches, shelves, side tables, and larger pieces on request
• Decor — wall art, floating shelves, sign holders, and one-of-a-kind pieces
• Noodle boards — a customer favorite, great for stovetop storage and serving
• Laser engraving — names, dates, logos, or custom artwork on most flat surfaces

Have a fresh idea that's not on this list? We're open to anything — if you can dream it up, we'll figure out how to build it. Out-of-the-box ideas are some of our favorite projects to take on.

How It Works

1. Fill out the quote form. Use the form below to tell us what you're looking for — your project type, preferred wood species, approximate size, and timeline. The more detail you share, the better we can envision your piece.

2. Design and quote. We'll talk through the details, suggest wood options and design approaches, and give you a quote. No commitment yet — just a conversation about what's possible.

3. Deposit and build. Once you're happy with the plan, a 50% deposit starts the build. We select the wood, cut, shape, sand, and finish your piece by hand.

4. Balance and delivery. The remaining balance is due when your piece is finished. Typical turnaround is 6–8 weeks during busy periods, sometimes faster when the schedule allows.

Wood Species

We work with premium hardwoods, selecting each board for grain, character, and durability. No reclaimed wood — every piece starts with quality material.

Available species include maple, walnut, cherry, mahogany, wenge, zebrawood, padauk, ipe, teak, ambrosia maple, bird's-eye maple, osage orange, granadillo, Guatemalan cherry, Patagonian rosewood, curly maple, and white oak. Not sure which wood is right for your project? We'll help you choose based on look, hardness, and how you'll use the piece.

Good to Know

Custom orders are non-returnable, since each piece is built specifically for you. We'll share progress along the way so there are no surprises. Furniture shipping is arranged separately based on size and destination — we'll provide a quote before finalizing.
